Not Troubled By Trouble

Life is not without troubles. There’s no one, no matter how full of faith he is, or wealthy, or powerful, that will not experience trouble in his lifetime. They come in different sizes and packages. And for different purposes too.
Troubles come to trouble you, but being troubled is a choice.
Troubles are external, but when you are troubled it affects you within. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled.”
Jesus slept peacefully in the midst of the storm and waves! That’s what it means to not be troubled by trouble. Why? Because you know that God is with you. David said, “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” Psalms 42:11.
In times of trouble respond with faith and praises to God.
Paul had troubles but he didn’t let them affect him negatively. He wrote, “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
God did not promise us a life without troubles, but He promised us deliverance from all troubles. Hallelujah!
