A constant state of happiness and satisfaction
Contentment is defined as a state of happiness and satisfaction. The reason why some women fight with their husbands for money even when they are working and have their own money is because they are not content. It’s the same reason why some ladies have sugar daddies and why some guys are gigolos; it’s not always because their parents don’t give them enough; they are not just satisfied.
Wise singles are contented with whatever they have. Nearly everyone desires a good life; to prosper and enjoy the best things of life; but we must be grateful for whatever God has given us at every point in time, and not base our happiness on things. Remember that our lives don’t consist in the abundance of things that we possess!
Paul said, “I have learned to be satisfied with what I have and with whatever happens. I know how to live when I am poor and when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of how to live through any kind of situation—when I have enough to eat or when I am hungry, when I have everything I need or when I have nothing.” Philippians 4:11-12
