Light Out Of Darkness
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6 NKJV
Brothers and sisters, we serve a God who is not intimidated by darkness. Let me tell you a little about God: the Scripture calls Him the Father of lights, and another verse says that He dwells in light so bright that no one can get close to. But Solomon said something completely different in 1 Kings 8:12; that God chose to dwell in darkness. Do you understand it? What you call darkness is not darkness to God; darkness is as bright as daylight to Him!
See, I said that to let you know Who we are dealing with: He calls light out of darkness! How do you explain that? He is God Almighty!
It doesn’t matter how thick the darkness of your life is, God can cause light to come forth from within it: from the darkness of prison Joseph became a prime minister! That’s what I’ve been trying to communicate to you; that even from that mess can come a very inspiring message! Invite God to your darkness today. Apply the word of God to your darkness and light will shine forth. So shall it be, in Jesus name. Amen.
