It Shall Come To Pass

“Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.” Psalm 105:19 NKJV

Talking about Joseph, the psalmist wrote, “He was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, he was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the people let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.”

Don’t be fixated on your present conditions that you forget the word of God and His promises of a better tomorrow. You may not understand what’s happening now; the way things are right now may not be the life you always dreamt about; it might seem as though you are all alone in this world, and that even God doesn’t care about you.

Joseph was betrayed, he was hurt, but the story of his life changed in one day! That’s how quickly God can turn things around! Hear the word of the Lord this morning; every word that has been written and spoken about you will come to pass! Hold on! You may not understand why: the truth is that you don’t have to understand why! Don’t worry yourself about the why, just keep your eyes on the Lord knowing that He is working things out for good. It shall come to pass! Hallelujah!
