A Stubborn Devil

“Now it was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled, and the heart of Pharaoh and his servants was turned against the people; and they said, ‘Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?’” Exodus 14:5 NKJV

Listen, one victory over the devil is not enough for you to become complacent; here’s the truth, dear brothers and sisters, for as long as you are alive you’ll always have to do battle against him.

Jesus was not tempted only three times, the devil only left Him for a while. A deliverance from the forces of evil should make you more aggressive against the devil rather than lazy. Understand that we are dealing with a very stubborn enemy; unfortunately we cannot kill him.

Resist the devil and he will flee. You resisted him yesterday; don’t wait until he returns tomorrow; hold on to your liberty; hold tightly unto your healing; hold on to your breakthroughs and deliverances; build walls of fire around your blessings; say, devil, I know you desire to steal from me again; I know you want to bind me again; but I rebuke you in the name of Jesus! Jesus has set me free, and I have chosen to stay free! Yeah! Hallelujah!
