The Omniscient Judge
“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13 NKJV
If Ananias and Sapphira had known they wouldn’t have lied to Peter, they didn’t realize that God is all-knowing: they sold a possession, kept back part of the proceeds, brought only a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet, lying that it was the entire sum. They both died.
Brothers and sisters, there are some Christians who teach and believe that Christians will not be judged; that’s so untrue. 2 Corinthians 5:10 says that we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
You see, when we stand before God, we won’t need to tell stories, there will be no twisting and altering of facts, there will be no lawyers to represent the details and try to convince the judge, and their will be no discussions about your intentions and motives for your actions: we will be standing before the Lord Himself Who is all knowing. What will then be revealed about our present lives? If your life were to be judged now, what would your judgement be? What shall be your reward?
