Ugly Situations In Beautiful Places
“And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple.” Acts 3:2 NKJV
Remember the popular telenovela titled The Rich Also Cry? We unconsciously think that all is well with the rich, but the rich also cry. I’m not really talking about the rich here; there are people we admire, people with great jobs, people in seemingly perfect relationships, people in important positions, etc, who we think that they have all they could ever ask for; they are in beautiful places but with very ugly situations.
Just like Naaman. A commander of the army of the king of Syria, a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, a mighty man of valor, but a leper! But a leper! Yours may not be leprosy; you may be all that at work, in society, in school, but unhappy, harassed, threatened, embarrassed. You might even have a terrible health condition.
The lame man was placed at the gate called Beautiful. And he was there for years until he came in contact with two men who had just received the Holy Spirit! They said to him, Rise up and walk! They grabbed him and pulled him up, and he walked! Today, I say unto you, Be free of every ugly situation in your life, in the name of Jesus!
