Commanded To Love
“And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” I John 4:21 NKJV
You know, God created everyone of us, because of which He loves us all, the good, the bad and the ugliest of us, He loves us despite our flaws and stubbornness; nothing will ever make Him to stop loving us. God doesn’t love us because we do good, not even because we serve and obey Him, no, He loved us while we were still sinners!
Two cannot walk together except they are in agreement. In other words, you can’t love God and not have some affection for the things that He loves; and of course, it includes men He sent His only begotten Son to die for.
The challenge is to see God in every human being, especially in those who have been saved. There’s nothing that will ever justify hatred for anyone in the sight of God, so the earlier you get it out of your system the better for you. We were commanded by God to love. If God is love, then we should also see ourselves as love! And if God never stops loving us, we too must never stop loving one another. His love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit!
