PRAYING WITH THE WORD
Nehemiah 1:8-9 NKJV “Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘ If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’”
People wonder why they don’t get answers to their prayers; they hear others testify and it’s as if they have been praying to a different God.
God answers prayers! Hallelujah! 1 John 5:14-15 says, “We can come to God with no doubts. This means that when we ask God for things (and those things agree with what God wants for us), God cares about what we say. He listens to us every time we ask him. So we know that he gives us whatever we ask from him.”
That’s the secret! When you pray, ensure that your requests are in agreement with God’s plans and purposes for your life. To be sure you’re praying aright, pray with the word of God. Remind God of what He has said because His word can never return to Him void. He watches over His word to perform it.
